Tea Pavillion

The Tea Pavilion project highlights the versatility of different resulting forms of bamboo techniquesand assembly.An organic cocoon like spaceinteracts with straight elegant and high bamboo structures wherestraight poles create a double curved surfaces as there are arranged in a parabolic form.At the cross of the 2 contrasting constructions a suspended clearing is created where people canrelax on the soft roof grass.The bamboos arches and clusters are attached with ropes and the structures are anchoredunderground by a mini foundation.The play of shadows and lights created by the bamboo structures aim at offering a space if encounternear the lake and inside being the perfect tea ceremony intimate space.
